medical update

My mother's in the SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit). On top of everything else, evidently she's also diabetic. Why they never found this out until now is beyond me. She's still incoherent. She's finally resting, however, and no longer painfully conscious.

I have never seen my father cry until today.

I'm spending the night alone in the house tonight. Beyond this, there is nothing else I can do.

I completely appreciate you lot for your textual support. Thank you for the e-mails, LiveJournal comments and guestbook entries.

It means everything to me right now.
