My mother's fever keeps returning; I wasn't actually that concerned about it, based on how she has been recovering. It's been slow, but it's been recovery. The doctors refrained from surgery because they were quite concerned she wouldn't be able to take it.

Her actual infection is not dwindling, despite her drain. The risk of surgery is gargantuan. The doctors have decided her infection won't dissipate without surgery. My brother just called to tell me about it. I am going up to the hospital tonight. She's going under tomorrow.

I need your vibes, and I need them now.
